There are so many variances that can affect the oil life that no one “golden rule” fits all!
Things such as weather conditions, driving conditions, speeds that the vehicle is driven, the distance normally driven and the loading of the vehicle all affect your oil life. The owner’s manual in your vehicle comes with recommendations of maintenance schedules. It is best to follow these as a bare minimum for warranty purposes, but if you truly want to keep your vehicle running smoothly and quietly, you should consider following a schedule that fits your personal type of driving. Not sure what schedule is best for you and your vehicle? Ask one of our service professionals and remember, "More often is better than less often". |
